Job Description:

We are looking for a Montessori Assistant Educator who is passionate about working with children in a Montessori 3-6 classroom. You’ll be working with a friendly team of educators in a supportive and positive workplace with a great culture. If you do not have formal training in Montessori you are still welcome to apply for this position as long as you are willing to undertake the Montessori 3-6 Orientation Course.

To apply for this position the candidates should meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Certificate 3 or Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience working with children
• Montessori 3-6 Orientation Certificate or equivalent or willingness to complete the 3-6 Orientation Course
• Understanding of Montessori 3-6 Curriculum, the EYLF and NQS
• The ability to take responsibility and work collaboratively in a team environment
• Adequate organisation skills to prepare the environment and make materials where required
• A willingness to use and learn technology and computer literacy
• A willingness to support colleagues
• A passion and commitment to early childhood education
• A valid working with children check
