Description

This is a series of lectures by Maria Montessori given in the 1930’s as war loomed on the European horizon. Montessori’s thesis is as valid and important now as it was when the world was being sucked into the vortex of war. In these speeches she outlines the need to examine modern education processes which repress the individual by insisting on a narrow approach with narrow objectives. Montessori’s method on the other hand aims at giving the individual opportunities to grow spiritually as well as emotionally, physically and intellectually. She supports the concept that human beings are our most valuable resource, and that civilisation is an evolving notion which requires our continued energy to maintain.,

We’re Moving to a New Platform!

Hello there,

We’re excited to share that we’re in the process of moving to a brand-new platform designed to offer you an even better experience.

That said, we still have a lot to move—thousands of articles, blogs, and other content—which is taking a bit longer than we’d hoped.

While we continue transitioning everything over, you’ll be redirected to the new platform for sections like Events, Jobs, the Directory, Shops, and Membership, which are already up and running.

We truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this process.
